ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Future People Media is a media start-up founded in 2024 by award-winning journalist Imani Walker. Her previous work includes reporting and producing shows at CBC News, CBC Radio, Yahoo News Canada, ByBlacks.com and The Brandon Gonez Show. As a reporter and host, she’s had the opportunity to interview icons like Ziggy Marley, Lu Kala, Director X, Jully Black and
many more.
